Real Betis have reportedly dropped their asking price for full-back Junior Firpo to £23m.
Barcelona have been strongly linked with a move for the 22-year-old over the last few weeks, while Liverpool are also said to have shown an interest as the Reds look to replace Alberto Moreno.
According to Sport, Betis had initially placed a valuation of £32m on the former Spain Under-21 international, who only made his debut for the Seville club in February 2018.
The same report claims that Los Verdiblancos have now made it clear that they are prepared to sell for £23m, although Barca are alleged to only be willing to pay £18.3m.
The Catalan outfit's head coach Ernesto Valverde recently revealed that his club were in the market for a new left-back to challenge Jordi Alba during the 2019-20 campaign.
Firpo has since responded to the transfer speculation by admitting that he is delighted to be linked with a summer switch to the Spanish champions.
