Barcelona have reportedly made a new and improved offer for Real Betis defender Junior Firpo.
The Spanish champions are believed to be in the market for a new left-back this summer to provide competition for Jordi Alba moving forward.
Ernesto Valverde's side have been linked with a move for Bayern Munich's David Alaba, who is said to be available for the right price in this summer's transfer window.
However, according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Barca have upped their offer for Firpo from £18m to £24m in a bid to secure a deal before the window closes next month.
The 22-year-old - linked with both Liverpool and Manchester United this summer - scored three times in 24 La Liga appearances for Betis during the 2018-19 campaign.
Manchester City and Real Madrid have also previously been credited with an interest in the former Spain Under-21 international, who only made his first-team debut for Los Verdiblancos in February 2018.
