Mainz 05 midfielder Anton Stach has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
Stach has spent his entire career playing in Germany, participating in leagues below the Bundesliga before getting an opportunity at Mainz.
Since then, the 24-year-old has established himself as a key player, contributing two goals and 10 assists from his 48 appearances in Germany's top flight.
Such has been his progression that two caps have been earned with Germany, and it appears only a matter of time before Stach makes the switch to a bigger club.

Mainz thrashed Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday night to move into seventh place in the standings, six points adrift of the top six.
While qualification for the Europa Conference League or better may keep Stach at Mainz for at least another season, he has just over 16 months remaining on his contract.
That leaves Mainz vulnerable to offers for Stach during the summer transfer window if they are unable to agree fresh terms with the former Greuther Furth man.
According to 90min, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are both monitoring any developments regarding the future of Stach.

Liverpool are known to be ready to make significant changes to their midfield in the summer with a number of players due to depart on free transfers.
Meanwhile, Spurs could be in the market for a fresh face for that area of the pitch, depending on the recovery of Rodrigo Bentancur from a serious knee injury and whether Pape Matar Sarr and Oliver Skipp impress during the remainder of 2022-23.
The report adds that Newcastle United and West Ham United have also taken an interest in Stach, who can play in a number of roles in the middle of the pitch.
That versatility would suit Newcastle who require reinforcements in that area of the pitch at the same time that they will be looking to remain within FFP criteria.
