Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius has admitted that he is unsure whether he has a future at Anfield beyond this summer following the arrival of Alisson Becker.
The Reds spent big to bring in the Brazilian number one from Roma last week due to growing concerns over Karius's ability, compounded by his errors in May's Champions League final loss to Real Madrid.
Karius has also looked shaky in Liverpool's friendlies against Tranmere Rovers and Borussia Dortmund, forcing Jurgen Klopp to jump to his compatriot's defence.
Despite Klopp's insistence that the former Mainz 05 stopper still has a part to play, however, the man himself is not so sure.
"Of course [Alisson's arrival] is not perfect for me, but I cannot say much more about that either," he told reporters.
Asked if he will still be a Liverpool player come the start of the season, Karius responded: "I cannot say what I'm doing right now. There's still some time left."
Iker Casillas and Mohamed Salah are among the figures to offer support to Karius following his high-profile blunders.
