Lyon vs. Nantes (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Striving to extend their winning run across all competitions to four matches, Lyon will welcome an out-of-form Nantes side to Groupama Stadium on Sunday afternoon for a Ligue 1 contest.
Les Gones were convincing winners in the Europa League on Thursday night, whilst Les Canaris have enjoyed a full week to prepare for their trip to Decines-Charpieu.
We say: Lyon 2-0 Nantes
Putting four past Rangers on Thursday night, Lyon will come into this weekend's clash full of confidence and expecting to collect maximum points.
Nantes have struggled against two relegation candidates over the past fortnight, so we cannot envisage a positive result for Les Canaris at Groupama Stadium on Sunday.

Brest vs. Le Havre (Sunday, 4.00pm)

Fresh off a scintillating Champions League victory in midweek, Brest will try and maintain that momentum on Sunday as they resume their Ligue 1 campaign by welcoming Le Havre to Stade Francis-Le Ble.
Both sides are near the bottom of the table after six matchdays, each with six points, with Stade Brestois suffering a 3-0 defeat versus Auxerre in their previous domestic encounter and the Normandy club losing by that same score to Lille.
We say: Brest 1-0 Le Havre
Brest have looked relatively comfortable defensively at home in this competition, and though fatigue might play a factor for them on Sunday, we expect to see them grind out another victory.

Strasbourg vs. Lens (Sunday, 4.00pm)

Strasbourg will be out to extend their unbeaten streak in the 2024-25 Ligue 1 season when they welcome Lens to Stade de la Meinau for a gameweek seven clash on Sunday afternoon.
The hosts have got themselves to nine points and are up to eighth place in the league standings after the first six games, while the visitors are one point and two places ahead of them.
We say: Strasbourg 1-1 Lens
While Lens have been the superior team in this fixture in recent times, their form in the lead-up to this match has been far from convincing. Strasbourg would have received a major boost from last week's victory over Marseille, and we feel they will be able to take something from this match as well.

Reims vs. Montpellier (Sunday, 4.00pm)

Seeking their first away points of the new Ligue 1 campaign, Montpellier HSC head to the Champagne region of France on Sunday to face Reims at Stade Auguste-Delaune.
A 3-1 victory over Angers last week lifted Les Rouges et Blancs to fourth in the table, while Montpellier suffered a last-gasp defeat in the Principality against Monaco (2-1), dropping them into an early relegation playoff position.
We say: Reims 2-0 Montpellier HSC
Reims are thriving under Elsner, and the creativity and quality of Nakamura and Ito, among others, should find a way through a Montpellier side that have struggled on the back end away from home.

Nice vs. PSG (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Both looking to respond following defeats on their continental travels earlier in the week, Nice and Paris Saint-Germain will lock horns for a Ligue 1 clash at Allianz Riviera on Sunday night.
Les Aiglons were beat heavily at the home of Lazio on Thursday night, whilst Les Parisiens suffered defeat at the hands of Premier League title challengers Arsenal on Tuesday.
We say: Nice 1-3 Paris Saint-Germain
Only managing wins against Angers and Saint-Etienne so far this season, Nice have not proven their ability to earn a result against a top-class side.
PSG will be hurting after their defeat at Arsenal earlier in the week, and we reckon that Les Parisiens should have enough firepower to respond with a comfortable victory at Allianz Riviera.
