Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has been ruled out of his side's clash with Stoke City on Saturday as he recovers from a hamstring injury.
The Belgian has been sidelined for the last four games with the injury that he picked up in the first leg of City's Europa League tie against Sporting Lisbon at the start of March.
"Update on my injury. Recovery going well but tomorrow is still to early, the aim is the Sunderland game. Working hard to come back stronger," Kompany tweeted.
The Blues can go top of the Premier League table with a win against the Potters.
