The Football Association have overturned the red card that Vincent Kompany was handed against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
Kompany was given his marching orders by referee Mike Dean after making a sliding challenge on Jack Wilshere during Manchester City's 2-0 win at the Emirates Stadium.
However, following a review of video footage, City opted to appeal against Dean's decision yesterday afternoon.
An FA panel have since considered the challenge and have decided that the verdict was incorrect.
The City skipper will now not have to serve a three-match suspension.
