Manchester City assistant manager David Platt has said that Mario Balotelli was wrong to walk straight down the tunnel after being substituted during the 3-0 win over Sunderland.
Reports have suggested that the Italian could now be on the way out of the Etihad Stadium following the latest bust-up.
Manager Roberto Mancini insisted after the match that he was happy with the 22-year-old.
However, Platt has said that he is at a loss to explain why Balotelli stormed down the tunnel when he was replaced by Sergio Aguero.
"I don't know why he walked down the tunnel. He wasn't injured," said Platt.
"Should he have walked straight down the tunnel? No."
Balotelli has been involved in a number of controversial incidents during his time in England.
