Premier League predictions gameweek 4: Musician Barry Can't Swim vs. Sports Mole
Sports Mole takes on musician Barry Can't Swim for a Premier League predictions challenge in gameweek four of the 2023-24 season.

The latest chapter of the Arsenal vs. Manchester United rivalry headlines gameweek four of the new Premier League season as the two top-four hopefuls face off in the final match before the September international break.

The weekend begins with Luton Town finally playing their first Premier League game at Kenilworth Road as they host West Ham United on Friday night, before Sheffield United entertain Everton in Saturday's early kickoff with both sides still searching for their first points of the campaign.

Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Manchester City also feature on Saturday, while Brighton & Hove Albion take on Newcastle United in the late kickoff, then on Sunday Liverpool welcome Aston Villa to Anfield for an eye-catching encounter.

Each gameweek, Sports Mole is taking on a famous musician or band in a prediction competition, and this week it is the turn of Edinburgh-born Evertonian Barry Can't Swim.

Barry Can't Swim Q&A

Musician Barry Can't Swim

How did you come to support Everton and what are your favourite memories from your time as a fan?

Barry: "My mum's from Liverpool and most of my family are Evertonians so I was born into it.

"In terms of my best memories, slim pickings just now really! The FA Cup semi-final win against Man United, finishing fourth under Moyes, the first six months with Ancelotti. Couple of decent Europa League runs in there too."

Who have been your favourite five players for your club (historically or currently)?

Barry: "If I could put Big Dunc 5 times I would, could do with him in the team right now. Tim Cahill, Leighton Baines, Richarlison, and the only one to make it from the current team is sixty grand Seamus Coleman."

What's going on for you as an artist at the moment?

Barry: "Debut album coming in October, UK and US tour coming up in the next couple of months. Fair few exciting bits on the way!"
