Owen Coyle: 'Chelsea still favourites for Gary Cahill'

Bolton boss Owen Coyle has stated that Chelsea remain the favourites to sign Trotters defender Gary Cahill, despite interest from other clubs.

Manchester United and Tottenham have both been credited with an interest in the England international, whose contract talks with Chelsea have stalled.

However, Coyle told Sky Sports News: "We have agreed a fee with Chelsea and we honour our word."

Cahill scored the winner in Bolton's 2-1 win over Everton on Wednesday evening.
