Manchester United have reportedly emerged as leading contenders to sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain this summer, with the attacker's six-year stay in France potentially coming to an end.
The 31-year-old joined the Parisians from Barcelona in August 2017 for £189m, and despite helping the club to four Ligue 1 titles in five seasons, the Brazilian has been unable to guide his side to Champions League glory.
Although Neymar has not featured for PSG since February due to an ankle injury, Christophe Galtier's men are just a point away from retaining their Ligue 1 crown and will be confident of confirming a first-place finish with a win at Strasbourg on Saturday.
According to The Mirror, Manchester United are in advanced talks with Neymar over a potential move to Old Trafford this summer, with United midfielder and fellow Brazil international Casemiro attempting to convince the playmaker to join.
It is believed that a number of Premier League outfits are interested in the attacker and have signalled their interest, however it is said that Erik ten Hag's side have made the most progress towards an agreement.
The former Santos man is contracted to PSG until 2027, but it is understood that the French champions would not stand in the player's way if he decided he wanted to move away from Parc des Princes this summer.
