Red Bull Salzburg forward Erling Braut Haaland is reportedly demanding a £6.8m-a-year salary from his next club as the speculation surrounding the teenager continues.
Manchester United are allegedly the favourites to sign the 19-year-old when the January transfer window opens for business, but a host of other clubs have also been credited with an interest.
According to Bild, RB Leipzig had hoped to sign Haaland at the start of 2020, but the striker wants £6.8m per year in wages, which is higher than the Bundesliga side are prepared to go.
The report claims that the Norway international currently earns in the region of £850,000 per year with Salzburg, who could receive as much as £76m for the youngster.
Haaland has been in outstanding form for his club this season, scoring 28 times in 22 appearances in all competitions, including eight Champions League goals in six outings.
United are believed to be prepared to spend as much as £250m during 2020, with Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho also regarded as a target for the 20-time English champions.
