Manchester United will reportedly rival Chelsea for the signature of Ajax attacker Hakim Ziyech during this summer's transfer window.
The Blues are believed to view the 26-year-old, who has scored eight times and registered 21 assists in 29 outings this term, as a leading transfer target.
According to The Sun, Frank Lampard's side are lining up a £45m move for the Morocco international, who played a key role in Ajax winning a league and cup double last season in addition to reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League, where they famously lost to Tottenham Hotspur.
However, the same report claims that United are also tracking the attacker and could be ready to make their move once this summer's transfer window opens for business.
Ajax will be in a strong position when it comes to any potential negotiations, though, as the attacker only signed a new deal with the Amsterdam club in August 2019.
Meanwhile, both United and Chelsea have allegedly been handed a boost in their pursuit of Lyon forward Moussa Dembele.
