Manchester United reportedly decide that they will offload Paul Pogba in January after becoming concerned about his level of influence in the dressing room.

Manchester United have reportedly decided that they want to offload record signing Paul Pogba during the January transfer window.

Pogba's future at Old Trafford has been the subject of intense speculation throughout the season following reports of fallouts with manager Jose Mourinho and a string of underwhelming performances on the field.

The Mirror reports that Mourinho has now run out of patience with the World Cup winner due to his influence on the players around him.

The United board are understood to be planning the sale of Pogba regardless of whether Mourinho stays on as manager, though, just two-and-a-half years after bringing him back to the club for a world-record fee.

Pogba is deemed to be a divisive figure in the United dressing room and has been left out of the team for their most important games recently.

The Red Devils will reportedly look to cash in on the 25-year-old when the transfer window reopens next month and would even be willing to let him leave on loan as long as it included the option of a permanent transfer.

Juventus are considered Pogba's most likely destination, and United are hopeful of striking a swap deal with the Italian giants.

Mourinho is understood to prefer a like-for-like swap with Miralem Pjanic, but United understand that they are more likely to succeed in bringing long-term target Alex Sandro to the club.
