Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay will remain at Old Trafford beyond the transfer deadline.
Both players have been heavily linked with moves away from the club this summer, with Maguire down the pecking order when it comes to the centre-back spots at Old Trafford.
West Ham United had a £30m bid accepted for the England international last month, but a move broke down.
Raphael Varane has since picked up a muscular problem which will rule him out in the coming weeks, leading to Man United making the decision to keep hold of Maguire.
McTominay's future has also been the subject of speculation, with West Ham believed to have made a move for the Scotland international earlier this summer.

Fulham are also thought to have been in touch with Man United on Thursday evening to discuss the possibility of signing McTominay before the end of the window.
However, even with Sofyan Amrabat on the verge of arriving from Fiorentina, a decision has been made to keep the Red Devils academy product at Old Trafford due to the volume of games.
"If you see the schedule, it's tough, it's really condensed, when you see last season, the World Cup, the season takes longer. Two weeks, we played FA Cup final one week, we had a short break, a condensed pre-season, you need the numbers and quality," Ten Hag told reporters on Friday afternoon when asked whether the pair would be remaining at the club.
"We have the depth and the quality players in, they (Maguire, McTominay) can play in a variety of situations and we are ready to go for the fight."

Maguire and McTominay are both set to be in the squad for Sunday's Premier League clash against Arsenal, most likely on the bench.
New signing Altay Bayindir will also be in the squad for the game with the Gunners, while Sergio Reguilon has already trained with his new teammates ahead of confirmation of a loan switch from Tottenham Hotspur.
Reguilon is also in line to be a part of the squad that takes on Mikel Arteta's side in North London.
Meanwhile, Ten Hag confirmed during his press conference that Rasmus Hojlund was ready to start for the 20-time English champions, having recovered from a troublesome back issue.
Amrabat's move will not be secured in time for him to take on Arsenal, meaning that the Morocco international's debut could come against Brighton & Hove Albion on September 16.
