Manchester United are reportedly keen to sell Romelu Lukaku before they press ahead with signing Leicester City defender Harry Maguire.
Despite just a week-and-a-half remaining of the summer transfer window, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is yet to bring in a new centre-back.
The Norwegian is allegedly eager to get a deal for Maguire over the line as soon as possible, with United prepared to meet the £80m valuation of the England international.
However, according to the Irish Independent, the Premier League giants wish to cash in on Romelu Lukaku before spending that amount of money on Maguire.
The stance could be a result of Leicester demanding a bigger fee up front, rather than being prepared to wait for a number of add-ons to be fulfilled.
The Belgian has been linked with both Inter Milan and Juventus, although it is unclear whether either club are able to pay £75m for the forward.
