RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano has reportedly agreed terms with Bayern Munich amid interest from a host of other top European clubs.
The likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Chelsea and Barcelona have all been linked with a move for the 21-year-old this summer following a string of impressive performances for Leipzig.
However, German outlet Bild reports that Bayern Munich have now won the race for his signature by agreeing personal terms.
A transfer fee has not yet been agreed between the two clubs, though, with Bayern reluctant to trigger Upamecano's £52m release clause while the coronavirus pandemic is ongoing.
The France Under-21 international has made 29 appearances across all competitions this season, helping Leipzig into the quarter-finals of the Champions League and to challenge Bayern for the Bundesliga title.
Upamecano's contract at Leipzig expires next summer and the club are eager to cash in on him this year rather than losing him for free in 2021.
