Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane hints that his side could yet sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has hinted that his side could yet complete a deal for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba in this summer's transfer window.

Madrid continue to be strongly linked with a swoop for the France international, who has featured in all three of United's pre-season games this summer despite the speculation surrounding his future.

Los Blancos had seemingly been priced out a move for Pogba, with his club placing a £170m valuation on the midfielder's shoulders.

Zidane, though, said that "something could happen" when questioned on a potential swoop for the 2018 World Cup winner before the transfer window closes for business.

"We need to respect everybody, but the only thing I can say from the club is we know what we want to do," Zidane told reporters. "Something could happen before the end of August. We could have some changes."

Juventus are also being linked with a move for their former midfielder, though, and the Italian champions are said to have offered United the pick of three players plus a cash sum in exchange.

The 26-year-old, who struggled for consistency during the 2018-19 campaign despite his impressive numbers, has a contract at Old Trafford until the summer of 2021.
