Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane would reportedly prefer to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba over Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar.
Two of the sport's most recognisble names have been linked with a switch to the Bernabeu in recent months as they look to leave their current clubs.
However, as of yet, no deal has materialised for either player, while it is increasingly unlikely that Real would be able to afford both.
According to L'Equipe, Zidane has told Real officials that his preference is the acquisition of Pogba, despite a deal for Neymar more likely to take place at this stage of the transfer window.
Man United have maintained that they have no interest in selling Pogba this summer, something which is unlikely to change now that they cannot bring in a replacement.
The report adds that Zidane is not convinced that Neymar will add to his current crop of attackers.
