Granddi Ngoyi put the hosts ahead on 20 minutes, but goals from Sebastien Puygrenier, Yohan Mollo and Andre Luiz turned the game on its head by half time.
Nivet gave his side a glimmer of hope with a superb long-range effort on 81 minutes.
The experienced midfielder then completed the comeback from the penalty spot three minutes from time, after Luiz had handled the ball inside the 18-yard box.
Both sides remain in the Ligue 1 relegation zone.
