Rafael Benitez: 'Napoli can still improve'

Napoli coach Rafael Benitez declares that his side are only working at around 75% of their full capability despite a strong start to the season.

Napoli coach Rafael Benitez has insisted that his side are capable of making improvements in all areas despite a strong start to the season.

The Partenopei held on to second place in Serie A yesterday with a 2-1 win over Catania, with Jose Callejon and Marek Hamsik on target in their third successive league win.

He told Sky Sport Italia: "We are still at 75%, as we can improve a great deal in my view.

"We had bad luck at times, the goalkeeper did very well to deny four clear scoring opportunities, but with the amount of chances we had we should've finished it off earlier. Instead we remained nervous on the bench throughout."

Under Benitez, the Azzurri have tasted defeat just once in 11 league games, scoring 24 goals to trail only Roma in the standings.
