Sepp Blatter hits back at "disrespectful" comments

Sepp Blatter describes recent comments made by FA chairman Greg Dyke as being the 'most disrespectful thing he has ever experienced'.

FIFA president Sepp Blatter has described recent comments made by FA chairman Greg Dyke as being the 'most disrespectful thing he has ever experienced'.

Dyke criticised the 78-year-old for suggesting that allegations of corruption in the governing body were racist.

The president of the Dutch Football Association, Michael van Praag, also launched a scathing attack on FIFA and its president, describing the organisation's reputation as being "ugly".

However, the Swiss has now hit back at the comments made by Dyke and fellow officials this week, with BT Sport quoting him as saying: "I have had to accept a number of blows but what I saw and heard at the UEFA meeting was the most disrespectful thing I have experienced in my entire life, on the football pitch and in my home."

Blatter has also called for changes to be made in the governing body of world football.
