Norwich City have confirmed that the club have appealed against the red card awarded to Bradley Johnson in the goalless draw with Newcastle United on Tuesday night.
Johnson was dismissed in the 82nd minute after clashing with Loic Remy, who was also sent off late on at Carrow Road.
"We can confirm that the club have appealed against the red card received by Bradley Johnson in the 0-0 draw with Newcastle United," a club statement confirmed.
The midfielder will miss three games if the red card is upheld by the Football Association.
