Preview: Norwich City vs. Bolton Wanderers

Sports Mole looks ahead to Friday's meeting between promotion-chasing Norwich and struggling Bolton in the Championship.

Norwich City can return to the top of the Championship table on Friday night when they welcome Bolton Wanderers to Carrow Road.

The Canaries, who are three points behind leaders Derby County, are currently on a winless run of five matches in the league.

Their last outing came on Saturday when they were held to a goalless draw by Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.

Meanwhile, Bolton come into the match having experienced a change of fortunes in recent weeks under new manager Neil Lennon.

The former Celtic boss has boosted the struggling Trotters since he arrived at the Reebok Stadium earlier this month, guiding them to two wins from their last three games.

Norwich will be without midfielder Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe, who is out with a knee injury, while Wes Hoolahan, Ryan Bennett and Mark Bunn are also sidelined.

Liam Trotter could be in contention for Bolton after recently returning to training, and David Wheater is also a possibility to play following a back problem.
