Didier Drogba snubs Porto for MLS move?

Didier Drogba will snub a move to Porto in favour of joining an MLS club, according to reports.

Chelsea legend Didier Drogba is reportedly poised to snub a move to Porto in favour of joining Premier League greats Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard in the MLS.

The 37-year-old striker is said to be in talks with the Portuguese giants after being released by the Blues in what was his second spell at Stamford Bridge last season.

The Ivorian was thought to be keen on staying in Europe, and reportedly snubbed a move to MLS side Orlando City last month.

However, Drogba has had a change of heart over the prospect of plying his trade Stateside and will join Gerrard and Lampard in North America, according to The Mirror.

Liverpool legend Gerrard joined Los Angeles Galaxy this summer, while his former England teammate completed his move to New York City FC.
