Sunday's Ligue 1 predictions including Lille vs. PSG

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Ligue 1 fixtures, including Lille vs. PSG.

Monaco vs. Lens (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Monaco welcome Lens to the Stade Louis II in Ligue 1 on Sunday with the two clubs having made excellent starts to the new campaign.

Both sides have won their opening two games of the season without conceding, and are providing early pressure on huge title favourites Paris Saint-Germain.

We say: Monaco 1-0 Lens

Monaco have looked very impressive so far and could be the side PSG worry about the most this season, especially after how easily they swept Lyon aside last week.

Lens have also been excellent domestically, but there may still be wounds from Thursday's agonising defeat in Europe, so Still must get his players back in shape for this tough test.

Angers vs. Nice (Sunday, 4.00pm)

Looking to bag their maiden points following a return to the top level of French football, newly-promoted Angers will welcome Nice to Stade Raymond Kopa for a Ligue 1 clash on Sunday evening.

Le SCO have endured back-to-back defeats at the start of their competitive schedule, whereas Les Aiglons have only managed to collect a single point from a pair of contests.

We say: Angers 1-2 Nice

After failing to find the net during their opening two matches, we believe that Angers will have a goal to celebrate on Sunday afternoon at Stade Raymond Kopa.

That being said, the arrival of Dortmund loanee Moukoko to an injury-hit Nice should inspire them to their maiden success of the campaign this weekend.

Le Havre vs. Auxerre (Sunday, 4.00pm)

Newly-promoted Auxerre travel to the Stade Oceane to face Le Havre in Ligue 1 on Sunday evening.

The two enter the weekend side-by-side in the standings, with one win and one loss apiece after two matches.

We say: Le Havre 1-1 Auxerre

Last week's impressive away victory could set Le Havre up nicely after getting PSG out of the way early on matchday one.

Auxerre could do with a result going into the internationals, as Monaco are up next when they return, and two clubs with similar ambitions this season could share the spoils here.

Reims vs. Rennes (Sunday, 4.00pm)

Looking to record their first victory of the new campaign, Reims will welcome Rennes to Stade Auguste-Delaune for an all-important Ligue 1 clash on Sunday afternoon.

Les Rouges et Blancs managed a respectable point at the home of Marseille last time out, whilst Les Rennais suffered defeat during their first away trip of the season.

We say: Reims 2-1 Rennes

Following a worrying loss to Lille on the opening day, Reims managed a decent point at Marseille, so Sunday's hosts should be confident of building on their positive momentum against Rennes.

Les Rennais struggled at Strasbourg last weekend, and we can envisage a similar narrative for the visitors this time around, resulting in another defeat.

Lille vs. PSG (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Two of France's Champions League representatives meet at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in the final Ligue 1 fixture before the international break on Sunday night, as Lille host Paris Saint-Germain.

Both clubs have taken maximum points from their opening two matches but this represents a big challenge for the two in their respective aims this season.

We say: Lille 1-3 Paris Saint-Germain

Even though Lille were the last team to stop PSG winning the title in France, the Parisians have certainly gotten their revenge in meetings since, especially at this venue, as the visitors won 5-1 and 7-1 in the space of six months in 2022.

Having now gone 25 games without defeat on the road in Ligue 1, PSG will feel confident of extending that run despite their hosts' equally-impressive start.
