Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has reportedly been tested for coronavirus after suffering from a sore throat in the last two days.
The 21-year-old was alleged to be suffering from a tonsil infection, although L'Equipe claimed that PSG refused to rule out the possibility of something more serious.
However, the French outlet have also reported that Mbappe tested negative for the virus on Tuesday, and could even be fit enough to make the starting lineup for PSG's second leg of their last-16 Champions League tie with Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday.
With sporting events across Europe succumbing to the coronavirus outbreak, Wednesday evening's match in Paris will be held behind closed doors, as will all Ligue 1 matches until April 15.
Mbappe has registered 18 goals and seven assists in 20 league outings for Thomas Tuchel's side this season as they lead the way in Ligue 1.
