Harry Redknapp eager to sign striker on loan

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that he is working to sign a striker on loan.

The Championship club have been linked with a surprise move for Tottenham Hotspur's Emmanuel Adebayor in the past week.

"We're looking round to see if we can bring a striker in on loan," Redknapp told QPR's official website. "We're seeing if there's anyone out there that can make a difference."

The R's climbed up to second place in the Championship table on Saturday, thanks to a 1-0 win over Birmingham City.
