Queens Park Rangers have agreed a fee of around £1.5m with Anderlecht for striker Idrissa Sylla, according to a report.
The 25-year-old, who was also strongly linked with a move to Championship rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers, is understood to be in London discussing personal terms.
West London Sport suggests that QPR are now hopeful of getting a deal over the line prior to Wednesday evening's transfer deadline, but the Guinea international will require a work permit if he is to finalise a switch.
Sylla has spent the last 19 months with Belgian side Anderlecht since joining from Zulte Waregem, scoring two goals in his first four outings this term.
