Real Madrid will be bidding to make it seven straight wins in all competitions at the start of the 2022-23 campaign when they return to La Liga action against Mallorca on Sunday afternoon.
Los Blancos, who are top of the table, will enter the match off the back of a 3-0 victory over Celtic in the Champions League, while 11th-placed Mallorca drew 1-1 with Girona in the league last time out.
We say: Real Madrid 3-1 Mallorca
Mallorca are certainly capable of making this a tricky encounter for Real Madrid, but we are finding it difficult to back anything other than a home success. Los Blancos will be missing their star forward but still have more than enough quality to collect all three points in front of their own supporters this weekend.

Elche vs. Athletic Bilbao (Sunday, 3.15pm)

Elche play host to Athletic Bilbao on Sunday afternoon still searching for their first La Liga victory of the 2022-23 campaign.
Meanwhile, Athletic make the trip to Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero looking to strengthen their hold of a top-six spot in the standings.
We say: Elche 0-1 Athletic Bilbao
With one team scoring just once and another conceding just once, this could be one-way traffic. However, we feel that Elche will remain competitive throughout, even if they may eventually succumb by a narrow scoreline.

Getafe vs. Real Sociedad (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Real Sociedad will be bidding to build on their impressive Europa League win over Manchester United when they continue their La Liga campaign away to Getafe on Sunday night.
The Basque outfit, who are ninth in the table, recorded a 1-0 victory over the Red Devils in Europe on Thursday night, while 19th-placed Getafe lost 5-1 at Valencia in their last league game.
We say: Getafe 1-2 Real Sociedad
Getafe will be the fresher of the two teams, but Real Sociedad will be full of confidence following their win over Man United, and we believe that the visitors will shade a close contest to put another three points on the board.

Real Betis vs. Villarreal (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Two teams with ambitions of top-four finishes in La Liga this season will lock horns on Sunday evening, with Real Betis welcoming Villarreal to Estadio Benito Villamarin.
Real Betis are currently fourth in the table, boasting nine points from their opening four matches, while Villarreal are third, having collected 10 points from their first four games of the campaign.
We say: Real Betis 1-1 Villarreal
There is not an awful lot between these two sides in terms of quality, but Real Betis are likely to be missing some important players this weekend, which would certainly help Villarreal. That said, we are finding it difficult to separate the two teams and have had to settle on a low-scoring draw.
