The agent of Argentine midfielder Ever Banega has revealed that talks over a new contract at Sevilla are "making progress".
Last week, the 27-year-old revealed that he wanted to pen an extension at the Estadio Ramon, before club president Jose Castro also divulged the same information.
According to Banega's representative Marcelo Simonian, there is not currently an offer on the table, but talks are heading in the right direction.
"We're in good harmony and making progress," Simonian told Sevilla ABC.
Banega joined Sevilla from Valencia in 2014 and has been a key player for the Europa League holders since arriving at the Estadio Ramon.
