Emmanuel Adebayor has asked for a £1m payoff to leave Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports.
The Togo striker will train with the reserves, having missed training with the team this week for "personal reasons".
The Metro claims that the 29-year-old has asked chairman Daniel Levy to cancel his contract and give him a payoff, despite having two years left on his current deal with Spurs.
Queens Park Rangers have recently been linked with a loan move for Adebayor.
