Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen has hinted that he will leave the club once his contract expires at the end of the season.
The Belgian centre-back is due to become a free agent when the 2019-20 campaign concludes after failing to agree fresh terms with Spurs.
Barcelona, Inter Milan and Napoli are all rumoured to be interested in signing Vertonghen, who is open to moving to another new country if the right opportunity presents itself this summer.
"I want to sign with the right club. It could be Spurs, or another club," he told Play Sports Kot.
"It must be a club with ambition. I want to play in Europe, as the national team is important for me.
"I want to play in Europe and learn another language. Spain and Italy are options. And the duration of the contract will also play a role."
Vertonghen joined Tottenham from Ajax in 2012 and has made more than 300 appearances for the North London side.
