Monaco centre-back Guillermo Maripan emerges as a transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Monaco centre-back Guillermo Maripan.

The 26-year-old spent two years with Spanish outfit Alaves before joining Monaco last summer, and he has featured on 25 occasions for the principality outfit this term.

The Chile international penned a five-year contract upon his arrival at the Ligue 1 club, but there has been speculation surrounding his future over the last few weeks.

According to to AS, Tottenham are weighing up a move for the central defender as they prepare to replace Jan Vertonghen, who is expected to leave on a free transfer.

The report, though, claims that West Ham United, Watford and Porto are also closely monitoring developments ahead of this summer's transfer window.

Jose Mourinho's side are also allegedly interested in signing Reims defender Axel Disasi.
