Watford have reportedly identified Ecuadorian defender Juan Carlos Paredes as a transfer target this summer.
The 26-year-old is currently preparing for the World Cup in Brazil after a successful season with Barcelona SC Guayaquil in his home country.
According to Sky Sports News, Watford have noted his form this season and are looking into the possibility of bringing him to England.
The Hornets have already completed the signings of Gabriel Tamas and Heurelho Gomes this summer.
