Steve Clarke wants his West Bromwich Albion players to stay focused and calm in their Midlands derby against Aston Villa on Sunday.

Steve Clarke has called for his West Bromwich Albion players to maintain their focus in this weekend's Midlands derby.

The Baggies face Aston Villa on Sunday, with Clarke expecting a hostile atmosphere at Villa Park.

Clarke told BBC Sport: "It is going to start frantic, it is going to be passionate, the crowd will be really involved.

"It is important for the players to have a cool mind."

West Brom are in fourth place in the Premier League table after making an impressive start to life under Clarke, recording victories against Liverpool and Everton plus earning a credible draw at White Hart Lane.
