Fiorentina striker Mario Gomez has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for West Ham United.
Earlier this month, it was claimed that the Germany international - who spent last season on loan at Besiktas - was available for a fee in the region of £5.9m.
According to The Mirror, Hammers boss Slaven Bilic could be prepared to move for the 31-year-old after growing increasingly frustrated in his attempts to add firepower to his attack.
It is claimed that Bilic is still keen to sign AC Milan forward Carlos Bacca, but the Croatian sees the experienced Gomez as a realistic alternative and would be prepared to pay his asking price.
On Sunday, it was reported that Hammers striker Diafra Sakho could be on his way out of the club after a fee was agreed with West Bromwich Albion.
