Preview: Wigan Athletic vs. Leicester City

Sports Mole looks ahead to the Championship fixture on Tuesday night between Wigan Athletic and Leicester City.

Leicester City can stretch their unbeaten league run to 20 games if they avoid defeat when they travel to Wigan Athletic on Tuesday night.

Nigel Pearson's side moved 16 points clear at the top of the Championship by seeing off nearest challengers Burnley in Saturday's lunchtime game.

They can now close in ever nearer on promotion to the Premier League at the DW Stadium in two days' time.

Pearson could rest some of his key players, with Chris Wood likely to get a start up front after setting up one and scoring the other against Burnley.

The Kiwi should replace Jamie Vardy, who went off injured in the first half at Turf Moor.

Wigan boss Uwe Rosler has seen his side stumble recently, picking up just one point from their last two games.

They're still in the top six and will fancy a late run at the automatic promotion spots with Burnley suffering key injuries just at the wrong time.

Rosler should rotate his starting lineup and could bring in the likes of Callum McManaman, Nick Powell, Ivan Ramis and Nicky Maynard to face the Foxes.

The reverse fixture back in September went Leicester's way thanks to goals from Liam Moore and David Nugent.
