Nick MacLeod recovers from concussion

Sale Sharks fly-half Nick MacLeod reveals that he is fully recovered after suffering concussion on Sunday.

Sale Sharks fly-half Nick MacLeod has revealed that he is fully recovered after suffering concussion on the weekend.

The 30-year-old was stretchered off the pitch on Sunday during his side's win over London Wasps following a collision with Joe Simpson.

Despite fears over his health, MacLeod insists that he is ready to return to action.

"I am feeling fine, it was just one of those things," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "Joe is a great lad who meant no harm at all.

"He came to me as I left the field to see if I was okay and we had a chat about it after the game."

Sale continue their Aviva Premiership campaign on March 22 when they play host to Northampton Saints.
