Sale Sharks claim win over London Wasps

Danny Cipriani kicks a couple of late penalties to give Sale Sharks a 21-17 win over London Wasps in the Aviva Premiership.

The visitors had the better of the early chances and were able to edge ahead through a Dan Braid try.

However, three penalties in just over seven minutes from Joe Carlisle kept Wasps in contention at the break.

Joe Simpson, who had spent time in the sin bin in the first half, made amends early in the second period, finding the gap for a try for the hosts.

However, Johnny Leota cut the deficit for Sale, before two Danny Cipriani penalties put them back in front inside the final 10 minutes.
