Charlie Attwood has just missed out at a chance of swimming in the 50m breaststroke final after finishing ninth overall in the two semi-finals.
Attwood finished fourth in the first semi-final, with winner Andrius Sidlauskas of Lithuania setting a new Games record with his time of 27.75s.
Croatia's Nikola Obrovac and Deniss Komars of Latvia finished second and third respectively.
His fourth-place finish was not enough though after five swimmers in the second semi-final swam a quicker time than Attwood's 28.55s.
Attwood, 17, finished fourth in the 200m breaststroke final yesterday and is still due to race in the 100m breaststroke and the 4x100m medley.
