Great Britain lose in straight sets to Italy in men's volleyball

Great Britain have lost their third successive group game to Italy in the men's volleyball tournament.

A strong Italian side dominated from the outset and proved too much for a spirited Team GB.

Italy were never out of sight in any of the three sets played but won the crucial points under pressure, taking the match 25-19, 25-16, 25-20.

Great Britain are now realistically out of contention for a place in the knockout stages and will be playing for pride in their final two group matches against Poland and Argentina.
