Barcelona recall Ruben Semedo, Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele for their La Liga meeting with Girona.

Barcelona have made three changes from the side which drew 1-1 with Chelsea in the Champions League for this evening's La Liga clash with Girona.

Manager Ernesto Valverde has recalled key players Ruben Semedo, Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele for the showdown at Camp Nou and set out an attacking stall.

Sergi Roberto, Andres Iniesta and Paulinho are the ones to drop to the substitutes' bench for Barca, who also start with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez in the final third.

Girona head coach Pablo Machin has set out a five-man defence in a bid to keep Barca at bay and made a number of changes from the side which beat Leganes 3-0 last time out.

Choco Lozano is preferred to former Middlesbrough man Cristhian Stuani in the attack, while on-loan Manchester City full-back Pablo Maffeo and Spanish midfielder Pere Pons also earn recalls.

Barcelona: Ter Stegen; Semedo, Pique, Umtiti, Alba; Busquets, Rakitic, Coutinho; Dembele, Suarez, Messi
Subs: Iniesta, Vermaelen, Cillessen, Paulinho, Vidal, Roberto, Digne

Girona: Bono; Maffeo, Ramalho, Juanpe, Bernardo, Aday; Pere Pons, Granell; Portu, Borja Garcia; Lozano
Subs: Iraizoz, Douglas, Stuani, Muniesa, Planas, Timor, Garcia
