Sports Mole looks at how Brazil could line up for Tuesday's World Cup qualifying clash against Peru.

Brazil will be sweating on the fitness of Gabriel Magalhaes ahead of Tuesday's World Cup qualifying fixture against Peru.

Fernando Diniz began his interim tenure with a dominant 5-1 victory in Friday's home meeting with Bolivia, ensuring that Brazil got their qualifying campaign off to a flying start.

Gabriel made his international debut in the fixture, but the Arsenal defender was forced off in the 85th minute with an injury issue.

The 25-year-old was pictured holding an ice pack on his thigh, and he will have to be assessed ahead of Tuesday's trip to Lima.

If Gabriel is unable to feature, Al-Ahli's Roger Ibanez is expected to join Marquinhos in defence to provide protection to Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson.

With Diniz unlikely to make any unforced changes, Danilo will continue to operate on the right side of defence, while Marseille's summer signing Renan Lodi is set to feature at left-back.

The centre of midfield will contain a Premier League duo, with Newcastle United's talisman Bruno Guimaraes set to partner Manchester United's Casemiro.

Neymar surpassed Pele to become Brazil's men's all-time leading scorer with his first goal of a brace in Friday's win over Bolivia.

The 31-year-old, who recently completed a move to Al-Hilal from Paris Saint-Germain, has now scored 79 goals in 125 international appearances, and he will look to add to that tally when he lines up behind the central striker on Tuesday.

Barcelona winger Raphinha and Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo also found the net against Bolivia, with the latter joining Neymar in registering a brace.

The pair will continue to provide the width for the five-time World Cup winners, while Richarlison will spearhead the attack.

The Tottenham Hotspur striker was seen in tears after he was substituted in Friday's contest, where he missed a gilt-edged opportunity to score his first Brazil goal since the last 16 of the 2022 World Cup, but he will look to make amends and add to his 20-goal international tally when he features against Peru.

Brazil possible starting lineup:
Ederson; Danilo, Marquinhos, Ibanez, Lodi; Guimaraes, Casemiro; Raphinha, Neymar, Rodrygo; Richarlison
