Burnley manager Sean Dyche is reportedly reluctant to sell £20m-rated goalkeeper Nick Pope this summer, despite interest from Fulham.

Burnley would be reluctant to sell goalkeeper Nick Pope amid interest from Fulham, according to a report.

The Championship side are hoping to sign the 29-year-old this summer as manager Marco Silva wants to get their business done early to prepare for the new campaign.

Pope has played in 25 of Burnley's 27 Premier League games so far, while making two appearances in the EFL Cup as well.

According to LancsLive, Sean Dyche would be reluctant to sell the England international in the upcoming transfer window, and the club would instead prefer to extend his contract.

Discussions have already taken place to extend Pope's current deal, which expires in 2023, as the Clarets have a one-year option which they could trigger.

Burnley are understood to have set a £20m price tag on the shot-stopper, although that is something that could be negotiable should they end up being relegated this season.
