Chelsea team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Atletico Madrid

Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid.

Chelsea will be looking to book their spot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League when they take on Atletico Madrid in the second leg of their last-16 tie on Wednesday night.

The Blues will enter the clash at Stamford Bridge with a slight advantage, having recorded a 1-0 victory in the first leg between the two sides last month.

The capital giants are still unbeaten under the leadership of Thomas Tuchel but were held to a goalless draw by Leeds United in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Atletico, who remain top of La Liga.

Possible return date: March 17 (vs. Atletico)

Tammy Abraham has recently been struggling with an ankle problem and was again absent against Leeds on Saturday. The forward has not yet been officially ruled out of this contest, but the manner of the issue means that he is a major doubt for the Champions League affair.
