A report claims that Turkish side Kasimpasa have rejected an offer from Chelsea for prolific striker Mbaye Diagne.

Chelsea have reportedly had a bid of £13.5m for striker Mbaye Diagne rejected by Turkish club Kasimpasa.

The Blues are frantically searching for a new goalscorer as Alvaro Morata edges closer towards the Stamford Bridge exit.

Gonzalo Higuain and Edinson Cavani have both been touted as targets for Maurizio Sarri's men, but Milliyet suggests that a lesser-known player could plug the gap.

Kasimpasa are said to have knocked back Chelsea's offer for their free-scoring attacker, who has 32 goals in 34 matches since arriving from the Chinese Super League 12 months ago, and are instead holding out for double the amount offered.

Diagne has already played for clubs in Italy, Hungary, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, China and Turkey by the age of 27.
