Report: Chelsea want Oscar de Marcos

A report claims that Chelsea are prepared to part with £20m to sign Athletic Bilbao midfielder Oscar de Marcos at the end of the season.

Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Athletic Bilbao midfielder Oscar de Marcos.

The 26-year-old, who can also operate at right-back, has been with Bilbao since 2010 and is just one appearance short of 200 in the league for the Basque club.

According to The Sun, Chelsea have had the Spaniard watched on a number of occasions this season and are prepared to activate his buy-out clause, which stands in the region of £20m.

De Marcos has already made 44 appearances for Bilbao this season, scoring twice in the process. Overall, he has 28 goals in 280 matches for the Basque outfit.
