Manchester United team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Copenhagen

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Monday's Europa League fixture with Copenhagen.

Manchester United will take on Danish side Copenhagen on Monday night for a spot in the semi-finals of the Europa League.

The Red Devils booked their place in the quarter-finals courtesy of a 7-1 aggregate victory over LASK Linz, while Copenhagen impressively beat Istanbul Basaksehir in the second leg of their last-16 tie on Wednesday night to ensure that they would be present in the last eight.

It is a straight knockout competition from this point forward, and there is a chance that United could meet domestic rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers in the semi-finals of the competition should they both advance.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the team's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Copenhagen, who finished second in their domestic table in 2019-20.

Possible return date: Unknown

Tuanzebe has not featured for United since December, having been on the sidelines with a hamstring problem in the early stages of 2020. Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has since confirmed that the centre-back has had an operation on his foot and will not be able to return until at least September.

Luke Shaw

Possible return date: Unknown

Shaw will also play no part in the remainder of United's Europa League campaign, with the left-back on the sidelines since picking up an ankle injury last month. Solskjaer recently confirmed that the defender should be available for the start of the 2020-21 Premier League season, though.

Phil Jones

Jones has not featured for United since January through injury, but Solskjaer confirmed ahead of Wednesday's clash with LASK that the defender was making progress in his recovery and could make the trip to Germany with the view to playing some part in the remainder of the Europa League season.

MANCHESTER UNITED'S SUSPENSION LIST

United have no players suspended for the European fixture.
