Manchester United must now turn their attention to the summer transfer window having left their business until late in January.
The Red Devils brought in Bruno Fernandes and Odion Ighalo in the final days of the winter window but are still expected to be active in the summer as they aim to restore their former glories.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Old Trafford.
Thursday morning's Manchester United transfer talk news roundup:
Borussia Dortmund identify Milot Rashica as replacement for Jadon Sancho?
Borussia Dortmund will reportedly make a move for Werder Bremen playmaker Milot Rashica if they allow Jadon Sancho to join Manchester United.
While the Premier League giants are said to be short of Dortmund's valuation, it appears likely that a deal will go through later this summer.
Potentially armed with an extra £90m in their transfer kitty, that will leave Dortmund to consider possible replacements.
According to The Telegraph, Rashica is on their shortlist, despite the Kosovo international said to prefer a switch to RB Leipzig.
The 24-year-old contributed eight goals and five assists in the Bundesliga this season, helping Bremen edge their way to safety via the relegation playoff.
A release clause in Rashica's contract allegedly leaves Bremen powerless when it comes to trying to retain the services of their star man.
Manchester United to rival Chelsea for £109m Jan Oblak?
Manchester United could reportedly be ready to battle Chelsea for the signature of Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak during this summer's transfer window.
Chelsea have allegedly identified the 27-year-old as the ideal replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga, with the Blues expected to move for a new stopper ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
United, meanwhile, could also be in the market for a new number one due to David de Gea's struggles, coupled with the uncertainty surrounding Dean Henderson's future.
According to the Daily Mail, United could battle their Premier League rivals for the Slovenia international, although Atletico are likely to demand that his full £109m release clause is met.
Atletico boss Diego Simeone recently admitted that he was "not surprised" that clubs were circling Oblak, who has a contract at the Wanda Metropolitano until the summer of 2023.
The Slovenian has kept 22 clean sheets in 48 outings for his Spanish club this term.
